Title: PLEASE STOP DOUBLE EMAILS
Post by: JimC on February 03, 2005, 10:19:56 AM
Although I want to continue to receive email
notifications for threads I participate in I
DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE EACH ONE TWICE.

The servers seem to be duplicating messages
and it looks like each duplication also
sends a email to those who have particapated
I have seen like 5 repeats from some and get
5 of the emails also.

Gee, you get E-Mail? I have to manually look
for responses, I never get an e-mail!

Brian H,

I am getting two emails for every post.
Double posts result in 4 emails. The odd
thing is that I got no email for your
response to my post.

Paul, Some ISPs by default put any X10
messages in a bulk or spam folder. In
earlier days X10 was known to send many
messages a day to any email address it could
find. My Spyware program has to be told the
X10 address is OK everytime I update the
definitions or I see nothing. Nice Rep.?
