Title: What about daylight saving time in 2007?
Post by: tvtech on October 30, 2006, 10:10:22 PM
New to the forum.

I'm not heavily into X-10 as some of you are, but I depend on it for some important things around the house. I'm concerned about the upcoming changes to daylight saving time next year. How will this affect someone using the CM11a and Activehome? Are there any workarounds? Should I even care?

I would appreciate any input or suggestions.

Thanks,

Dennis

The old ActiveHome lets you change the dates for daylight saving time in the configuration window.  (I assume it works properly, however I've never tried downloading a program with changed dates to verify.)  You'll have to update this manually once a year.

Well, that's easy. I never realized those windows could be changed. I just thought they showed local DST start and end based on geographic location (I know it's different in Europe). So, it's no problem after all.

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate the quick response.
