Title: OnAlert AHP DX7000 Installation
Post by: Billaban on December 22, 2006, 05:11:09 PM
Greetings,

I have done a search and failed to find a discussion on this topic.

I have successfully installed a DX7000 with assorted modules.  Works fine.

I am now trying to do the OnAlert install of all the DX7000 modules and I'm having some problems.  Based on what I have read I suspect RF range with the modest CM15A antenna to be the issue.  However when I use a TM751 near the problem modules I still have problems.

FWIW - everything I have is new/current x10 equipment and all have fresh batteries.

I guess my question is what is relevant?  What is really happening?  Is this a RF range issue between a module and the CM15A or the module and DX7000?  Is a TM751 going to help?  Is this the part where you folks tell me to get the CM15A antenna as high in house as possible?

TIA,

Billaban - MC and HNY.

A TM751 isn't designed for the security modules so it won't help!
x10 sells a RF signal repeater which may help!
