Title: XP Pro Windows USB update for Active home Pro??
Post by: EL34 on January 11, 2007, 09:22:42 AM: I was doing a critical update this morning and I noticed that there were two hardware updates available.
When I looked to see what they were, one was for Active home.

I didn't do the update cause installing drivers this way can get you into all kinds of trouble.

Anyone know what this driver update is and if it should be installed?

Post by: Dan Lawrence on January 11, 2007, 12:13:06 PM: Since the date of the XP Pro Windows USB update for Active Home Pro is 2005, I would NOT install it until sombody at X10 says it's good now. If your AHP/CM15A is working fine, don't mess with it.

Post by: hostilejava on January 12, 2007, 09:20:58 AM: I installed it way back when it came out and have loaded it since on numerous reloads of my system with no problems. In fact I usually run all the updates after I have AHP installed, so I'm sure that's the driver I"m using now. Also on my install of Vista the cm15a was picked up during installation and a driver from Microsoft installed for it. I'm using that driver with AHP and have had no problems so far with it in Vista.
