Title: Help with flags for motion
Post by: fireguy_03 on May 23, 2007, 06:21:31 PM
I've set up a motion/macro for bathroom light. Work great but if motion triggered it re-starts timer. Trying to set flags so it won't re-activate ontill the 8min timer shut light off. Can someone please help with this as I have tried putting in the flags but nothing changes ?

1st: I can't believe this post went unanswered for so long  ???

2nd: Not sure why you would want the light to potentially go out if someone is still in the bathroom... but here is a macro to do what you want.

In this example, I3 is the address of the motion sensor.

fireguy_03:,

Like Puck, I can't believe you've waited so long for an answer.  Hope you're still around.

Puck has things well covered in his post.

The only thing I can think to add is download the macro to the CM15a.  That's where the  flags reside..

Puck -- In your example shouldn't you "Clear Selected Flags" 1 instead of 8?

Yes!

Thanks for picking that up Don. I'll update the example this evening.
