Title: All lights on question
Post by: myron18 on July 22, 2007, 10:28:36 PM
I'm sorry if this sounds complicated, but I'm considering options for ways of manually triggering some macros without using the computer.

I have an old BSR X10/"The Timer", Model X10-020211. It has an "all lights on" switch. If I set up my program so that there are macros with "J", "K", and "L" house code triggers, and set the timer house code  to "K", when I press all lights on, will it trigger only the K code macros, and not trigger the others?

Neither an "All Lights On" or an "All Units Off" command will trigger macros.
e.g. If you have a macro that triggers on "M1 On" and a macro that triggers on "M2 Off" neither will trigger from an "M All Lights On" or an "M All Units Off" respectively.

I have used my BSR X10 to trigger macro by setting a timed event and by using the Now button after setting the slide switches to the appropriate places.
