Just got some info on this.
Rain8ii comes with or without x-10 2-way module.
It also has its own software.
The software configures rain8ii to x-10 house and unit codes.
It also configures a default setting as how long the valve will be opened in the event of an OFF signal failure from x-10.
X-10 software then configures the rain8ii into x-10 compatible - timers or macros.
This system can be used with both a sprinkler or garden hose system.
