I just bought a (X10 Color Camera, SC15A).. but I'm disapointed !
I installed this camera to watch my driveway when motion is detected !
While a day it work fine... but while a night
- I can view a light on neighbor's house
- I can view light's car going on road
- I cannot view a car parked on my driveway
I have near on my Driveway a Streetlight ...
I will obligate to buy another camera, but this time, I want to be sure to buy a good model !
I want a model that I can view on my TV a car on my drveway while a day and while a night !
Does you have a suggestion for me ?
Thanks

None of X10s cameras are designed for night vision with the exception of the Sentenel (http://www.x10.com/minisites/x10sentinel/) which has a starlight mode!
You'll have to go to another brand that specificaly states night vision on the package!
Alot of the cheeper night vision cams suffer color quality duing the day time hours! ;)
Home Depo has started to sell night vision cams here in Canada so you may wish to look at them.
Mine you they don't come close to doing what the sentenel can! :(

If I buy a SC23A (NIGHTWATCH B/W CAMERA), does you believe that can detect if a car is in my driveway or not, if I specify that I have near on my Driveway a Big streetlight ?
Note that while a night, I'm able to read easily a document or my watch in my driveway with this Big streetlight !
Thanks

I was never happy with my night watch but others are! ::)
See: Picture Quality (http://www.accessha.com/forums/cameras/547-picture-quality.html) for some sample nightwatch pics!
You should be able to see your car but I suspect you'll need additional lighting! :(
