Title: Motion Sensor Question
Post by: tjlwolf on April 18, 2008, 12:40:51 AM
 ???
Heres what I want to do.
When motion is detected in the dining room through a motion sensor I want our china cabinet light to come on.
So I need a Motion Sensor, lamp/appliance module but do I need a tranceiver??? I guess because the sensor is wireless? Is there a plug in sensor to eliminate the transceiver?
So what the best way to do this?
The only thing I already have is a IR543 working a couple light switches...

Yes you will need a transceiver but if you use the one X10 sells (TM751) you will not need a lamp or appliance module for the light as the transceiver has an appliance module built in. Just be prepared to listen to the noise of the relay each time it is activated.
