Title: Help setting up

Hi,
I'm sure this info is here somewhere but my search came up empty. Just wondering what the best way is to set up AHP + all plugins for the first time. Do I wait to get the CM15a and Va11a before downloading the software, or is it "safe" to download and install the software first? The email I got from x10 just has the links to the software downloads but no guidance on what sequence I'm supposed to follow. If anyone could help or provide a useful link as to how to set this thing up I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

You can download and install the software and start creating rooms, etc. You can play around with it while waiting for the hardware.

OK thanks. Just one problem though....On-Alert will not install. Does anybody out there have the CORRECT install file for ONALERT? I thought maybe I had to install the software in some kind of special sequence in order to get this OnAlert thing to install properly----error message: "newer version on server" keeps popping up and ending the install.  ???  All other plugins installed properly. (knock on wood).

HELP!

Many(every) OnAlert user has had this issue! See: Newer Version On Server (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?topic=10181.0)
E-mail support and ask them to send you the newest installer not a link!  ;)

Thanks Tuicemen, I did phone Techsupport and they emailed me the exact same install file (several times) that will not install! I don't know what else to do at this point...know one at x10 seems to know anything or be able to help with this.  >:(
