Title: 5-in-1 remote change to IR

In the manual for the UR74a it says you can change the x10 codes from 999 to 998 and it will send IR instead of RF. Has anyone done this?
 I was playing with it and the manual says after I put the code in the led should turn off......but it doesn't.

I want to use this remote to program my pocket-PC remote software. So I need a X10 remote to send IR so the learning feature of the Pocket-PC will pick it up. for right now I don't have a IR receiver for X10 so I have no way of knowing if the remote is changing from RF to IR.  Has anyone done this or maybe found another way of programing the NOVII REMOTE DELUXE software to do X10.

Well to answer one of mine own questions just incase others are looking. The code to switch from x10 rf to x10 ir on the UR74A is 0998 not just 998 like the manual shows.
