Not sure if I am posting this in the right spot or not.....I am trying to find a way for AHP to send a DDE poke to a third party surveillance software which will start the record when a alarm goes off. Currently AHP i know will run a PC command or batch file....but I cannot find a app that will send the DDE poke command. I did find a DDE tester utility that works, but it requires the manual input of the "server" "topic" etc. each time. Also found another little utility called CMCDDE.EXE...but it only sends the DDE execute command and naturally I need the poke. I hope this makes sense....if not I will be glad to add any other info needed.
