Title: Video Sender L2
Post by: pferrelli on August 28, 2008, 04:02:42 PM
Help!

I just received the Video Sender L2 (the one on the most recent e-mail promotions).  I've hooked it up to my PC (sender) and my HDTV (receiver) in the next room.  I downloaded and installed the drivers plus the Lola software.  While I can get audio on the HDTV from my PC, the video portion doesn't come through at all.  Just a blank screen.

My purpose of getting the Video Sender is to be able to view video from my Windows Media Center on my HDTV.  The Lola software seems to be more audio driven than video driven.  What can I do to make this work?

Also, I'm running Windows Vista if that makes a difference.

Thanks!
Patricia

Check your PC's video output.
Not sure about Vista, but in other window versions to send signals to the s-video port you'll need to set it up through "display" and "advanced" settings.
Also the s-video cable supplied has a short connection and may not be fully seated in the plug.  I'm still having problem with this on the machine I want to use as the primary (a Win2000 machine I want to use as a media center) but everything works ok on my laptop.
