Title: Possible interference

I have an Active home system whjich replaced my X10 timer.  I'm not having great success with it.  Now modules that worked off the timer don't even acknowledge the Active home system.  Home codes have been checked.

Am I missing something, because I'm not havving great results with the Active Home system.

Any help would be appreciated.

I take it you have Active home pro with a CM15a? lets us know!!!

Make sure your CM15a is not pluged into the same outlet as your computer.  Could have a noise/ signal sucker problem.

Your timer might have been on the same phase as your modules and your cm15a near the computer could be on the other phase. do you have a phase coupler.

Strangely, the OP (KenM3607 lives in Randallstown, a western suburb of Baltimore. I happen to live in Parkville, a northeast suburb of Baltimore. He sent me a PM with an e-mail copy to my address, I sent him 2 PMs with my home phone number and a request to call me in the evenings.

Nothing.  I am going to e-mail him from the address in his user profile and see what happens.

Assuming you have the CM15A as your automation controller (AHP): The CM15A does not put out as strong a signal as some of the older X10 wired controllers (Maxi Controller, Mini Controller, Mini Timer, etc). If NOTHING has changed in your home since the X10 Timer, you might fix with a coupler/repeater like Jeff Volps XTB IIR or ACT CR234.

Ken called me last evening!!!  As we chatted,we discovered we have friends and interests  in common and he mentioned that there are 6 PCs in his house, so I said that PCs are notorious noise producers as one of the problems he has is lights that work and don't work, so he got on the X10 site and searched for plug-in filters.  I also suggested X10 Pro and Automated Outlet to him for X10 equipment.
