I have a interesting problem. I use a CM15A to control my lights and appliances. The system has worked great for years. This last week my child knocked over a table lamp that was plugged into a pluggable lamp module. The bulb broke and the breaker in the Fuse box flipped. When I cleaned up the mess and reset the breaker I noticed an issue. I have 2 WS467 wall switches that are on motion sensors and timers. These switches stopped responding to remote commands of any kind. I could still turn the lights on by pressing the button, but could not control the lights remotely via any means. I happened to have an old phase coupler dryer plug on the shelf, so on a whim, i plugged it in to the dryer outlet. One of the switches immediately began to work again. Although the other still does not, i have traded out new WS467s and still get the same result. Any ideas???? B:(

Maybe (and just maybe), the breaker didn't fully reset and could be generating some noise. Try flipping it off and on a couple of times. Could be a sign of a breaker going bad.

I don't BELIEVE it. Your mention of interference gave me yet another idea. The same day all of this happened, I bought by wife a new HP laptop. I unplugged the charger and POOF. Both lights work again even after unplugging the dryer box. Oddly, I can plug her charger into other outlets with no ill effects. It just seems to be the ONE plug outlet (uncontrolled). >!

Glad you figured it out. Sounds like you could use a filter. Just because it doesn't interfere in some outlets now, doesn't mean that it won't in the future.
Yesterday it worked, today it doesn't. X10 is like that.
