Title: PSC01 problem, please help!
Post by: xiaoyu80305 on September 15, 2009, 06:08:28 PM
I recently purchased a PSC01. The unit has reliability problem. When ever the unit quit to work, the test button is also out of function. Sometimes, I could get it back to work by un-plug and plug or moving the switch. I don't have any idea. Please help! the switches on the unit were set to "B" and "3" with certain codes. I called X10 and, had been told due to an interference?? Is the unit a defective one?

I doubt interference would make the local test button from working.
You said sometimes moving the switches for mode and output makes it work. Try moving them back and forth a few times and see if they are just dirty.
If the module still is flaky I would say it is defective.

Also cycleling the power corrects it sometimes. That again sounds like a defective unit. Something needed a power reset to work.
