Title: Flash Memory for CM15A... Get rid of batteries.
Post by: gus gaglio on September 23, 2009, 02:33:02 AM
Hey X-10, don't you think it's about time we did away with the batteries for memory backup?
The rest of the world is using flash, can you explore the simplicity to modify the CM15A?
 Sure would be nice !

Batteries are for the internal clock so it remembers the time if there is a power failure.

Not really.  Since macros mainly control X10 devices that can't operate if the power is off.  ;)
