Title: vk82a video sender/receiver and ur74a remote

i have been told that i can use my vcr remote in place of the ur74a remote, which i am now waiting on.e channels
if this is so how do you connect everything to make it work, i have tried everything to no avail.  also what is the secret for programming the ur74a remote, since the object of all this is to be able to change channels in the receiving room.  any help is appreciated and so are diagrams.

truicmen, thanks for the info. i tried this on yhe remote that nroke. i am presently awaiting a replacement.  how do you use another remote on the system and how do you hook up say a vcr to use as a tuner.  i have great video and audio. i also have dish satelitte.

I've never used the video sender/receiver in this way, perhaps someone who has can chime in! ::) :'
