I've been trying to use MyHouse online for basic monitoring of my cameras from work, but unfortunately, this product is down more than it's up (which doesn't seem to be news to anyone). I've tried to get X10 support to help, but they never respond. It's a great idea, but I feel like it's a total waste of money at this time. Until they can get a stable online platform to support their service, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

An option that gets "good marks" in the forums is PC Companion. It might just do everything you need. The basic version is available as a free download, but I think you'll have to donate to get all the camera support.

You could also try Blue Iris software. http://www.blueirissoftware.com/ (http://www.blueirissoftware.com/)
It supports the X10 VA12A and VA11A, as well as many I.P. cameras. It does not, however, allow you to control your X10 cameras, so you'd need some other way to do that. They, too, offer a 15 day free trial, so you can try before you buy.
