Title: XPS2 ?

I have a pool cover pump that has an auto shut off when the water is completely drained. A 120v appliance module apparently won't let the auto switch reset so the pump won't start unless I unplug it from the module, plug it back in, and switch the module on. I'm thinking of trying a double pole module. The only one I can find is the XPS2 which is a wall switch but looks like it could be used in a J-box as a wired through switch - Is there another X10 double pole device? I am hoping the double pole switch will allow the reset of the auto switch in the pump.
Any suggestions?

If the pump is already automated with a switch, why are you adding x10.

The XPS2 is a 220 volt unit and will not work with 120 volts.
Is the Appliance Module a fairly new? One that is called CFL friendly? If it is the local control sensing circuit in you Appliance Module causing the problem. The new ones have a very reduced current on the output when off.

Thanks. The pump will start every 3 minutes to determine if water is present, run about 30 seconds, and shut off if there's no water. I'd rather this not happen.

Thanks for the suggestion on the CFL friendly module. That solved the problem.
BTW, I am controling this module through a universal interface wired to a simple wind-up wall timer that you would use to control a bathroom heater. The pump is energized for 30 minutes and shuts off preventing overheating (and forgetfulness to turn off). This was really important with prior pumps that did not have an auto reset.
