Title: Old linux posts

Why is it that almost nobody dates their articles? When it comes to technology, you have to date your articles because technology moves ahead so quick.

Anyway, it seems like the average google result from 'linux home automation' is about 5 years old. Is this a dead topic or what?

I would love to run my home automation software on my linux nas. The problem is the NAS doesnt have its native kernel headers and I have a powerlinc v2 2414u. I can get the software on there just fine, I just can't get the device working :(
