Title: Dead Socket Rocket / LM15 fixed
Post by: jhuppertz on April 11, 2010, 01:52:32 AM
Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I'm doing things the wrong way, but ... I come bearing gifts ;)
For all you X10 lovers with blown-out Socket Rocket or LM15 devices there is a fix and it is very cheap ;D

I fixed mine and it works great now. Even better if you consider that a blown lightbulb should not hurt it anymore.

Look at the attachment en tell me if you like it.

Cheers,
John

Thank you for this data.
I am sure it will assist our overseas X10 users as the LM15A is not the same as the European ones.

Even though I'm not sure I will attempt this repair, I do appreciate this information.  Helpful to me, for sure.  Thanks.....

Hmmm... I love the photos, but that is all I see as all the text in the document is white on white when I open it. Anyone else have this problem?

Opens fine for me.
Are you opening it from the link or did you download it and then try and open it?
Just curious as it worked both ways for me.
What version of Adobe are you using or what other program that can open a pdf file?
