We've had an X10 system in place for several years. It's been great. But when I came to your website today, to research a problem with our outdoor motion light, I couldn't believe that your website is stuck in the late 90's. Your website is BUSY with NONSENSE!!!! It looks like a scam. If this was my first contact with your company, I wouldn't feel secure buying from you. Update your website to a more professional look & design. Get rid of the trashy html garbage. I mean, really, what's with the picture of the girl that moves up to show her shoulder like some peep show? Are you selling home security products & porn?

You're not the only one. search for the word porn on this board and you will find at least two long threads about it.

They're is Vegas baby! What should we expect. That's what it looks like driving down the Vegas freeway.

A lot of the people who post here feel the same.  Even though this forum is sponsored by X10.com (I think?), it's hard to tell if anybody from the company ever reads any of the posts.

As to porn they do not even use all that attractive chicks IMO and they certainly do not show much. Well there is that one in a two piece but even it is not a string bikini.

A huge improvement would be a listing of what works with what and what each device actually can a and can not do.  Every package comes with a 741 transceiver which in fact can not be used with each other as they step on each other. They also step on the CM15A.  The CM15A should be able to control all of the modules but has such limited range it can not and there is no inexpensive repeaters to improve it's range. Also it can not be used to transmit RF unless you create a Macro to do so. Some timers and macros can be stored in the 15A  but others require they be ran from the computer.

I am pretty sure that no one that works for X10 reads the forums. This is a community forum [after all]. But it never hurts to complain and make your concerns known.

Actually at one point... the X10 Web Site was really awful. Whereas continued improvement should always be the goal... X10 has make some real improvements. Just keep getting better X10!!!!

I agree.
It was much worse before recent changes.
My ISP actually blocked them as Spamers for the constant Newsletters.
Now if I could just turn off the "Want and Instant Chat with a Salse Adviser" box. I would be a happier person.

I agree with all you guys and gals
It has gotten better but the "other guys" (well most anyway)have a way more navigatable (wow I sound like GEORGE W  rofl) web site.
