What frequency/frequencies (should such apply) does the X10 plugin wireless transceiver operate at?

X10's RF frequency is 310MHz for their Transceivers and RF devices here in the US and Canada.
433.92MHz for other areas of the world.
PowerMid IR extender is 418MHz.
The power line X10 signal is 120KHz.

Anyone think this 310 MHz might interfere with or be interfered with by a 319.5 MHz wireless system operating in the same home (319.5 system both transmits and receives)?

I doubt it would, but Murphy has bitten me a few times with RF devices.
It may depend on the design of all the devices in the mix and how close they are to each other.
Like the newer TM751 has the same receiver board in it as the CM15A. While there where two different designs in the older ones.
Are you having a possible problem with interference?

What system?
What devices in the system?
What red light. I don't believe any X10 devices have a red light on them.
If you have a TM751 Tranceiver it can not be controlled by a power line signal. Only an RF remote command on the House Code it is set to and Unit Code 1. It will send all sixteen unit codes for the house code back on the power line.

The code you need is 42761-92G3Z-27&@!2
Simply copy and paste this code using the S2-1217 recoding spraggle cable that came with the optional 57P-34Q coding device (don't forget to utilize the PJ63/D99 software installation package that came with the cable).
Now if I have correctly defined your problem you should then add the T57/tecH dongle to the back of the RJTECH 810DVX and everything should be completely hoopy.
However, that said, if you're trying to use a different device to the one I think you're trying to use then you're probably SOL

We are not mind readers. We have no idea of what you are describing. X10 tranceivers do not get "detected" so I am (we are?) confused.
Model numbers and better problem description will make us think harder. Gifts of sweet tea, Red Bull, or Bud Light can have a positive effect also. :-*

So you think "fishhawkk" is refering to a CM19A? Makes a lot of sense, I suppose he means the computer isn't detecting the USB connection. Me thinks your crystal ball is finely tuned.
However I am still a little miffed that you don't think my yellow suit and purple tie go togeather.

Hello all.
Can someone tell me the difference between the CM15A and the CM15SD that I see X10.com selling now?
Also, what am I missing by using the CM19A transceiver instead of the CM15 class transceiver?

CM15A is the basic USB Active Home Pro Interface. Used with the AHP software.
The CM15A can have programs downloaded to it and then have the computer turned off. It also can send and receive. X10 Power Line and RF signals. As it has a power line receiver and transmitter in it. Along with an RF transmitter and receiver.
CM15SD seems to be one of the "Certified Like New" Deals. Includes the CM15A interface AHP software and some of the added plug ins that add features to AHP.
The CM19A that the AHP software was updated to control. Is a USB only device. That must be run from the computer. It is strictly an RF transmitter and receiver. That is why a TM751 Tranceiver is in the package to get the signals onto the power line. It can not have anything downloaded to it so the computer can not be turned off.

Can someone tell me the difference between the CM15A and the CM15SD that I see X10.com selling now?
My best guess is SD stands for "Scratch and Dent" or returned item - AKA "Certified Like New"

Thanks all for the response. That's exactly what it is.....Certified like new. I have a couple of cm19a's so if its just the fact that i can turn a computer off, then ill stick to my cm19a's which are new.
I dont mind running a machine since i have a couple of spares.
