I have just purchased a new house and have just ordered 2 packages from x10.
The 6 camera pc/tv web surveilance system and the
Security system. (3 motion, 12 door/window)
I haven't even received it yet but thought I'd start collecting "best practices" info. to avoid possible problems.
When I get all the boxes -- should I change all the batteries right off the bat to known good/fresh ones?
I have a linksys internet router (cable company provides voice/internet/phone)
I have 2 panasonic cordless phones
are there any generic "set devices for xyz channel" and you won't have any problems w/ the linksys or phones
