Title: Extended use of a SS13A
Post by: Knightrider on September 23, 2010, 08:43:43 PM
Just a simple macro that allows for an All Lights Off in the Bedroom during a specific time frame.

AHP 3.236

Runs from the interface

Narrative:

I have 5 lights in my bedroom, addressed from A2 through A6 (Overhead, 2 table lamps on either side of the bed, a table lamp on the dresser and the closet light).  By one of the bedroom doors, I have a Stick-a-Switch which runs the overhead and two lamps beside the bed.  Timers turn on the lights in the morning (and off at 10 am [in case I forget]).  Often I just hit the Stick-a-Switch and turn off those 3, leaving the timer to catch the dresser light and the closet light.

This macro allows for the top button of the SS13A to kill all the lights on a single button push when I walk out in the morning, allowing for normal control in the evenings.

Macro Name:
Master Bedroom Lights Out

Trigger & Conditions:

   A2 OFF and
   After 6:30AM and Before 10:00AM

Actions:
   A3 Off
   A4 Off
   A5 Off
   A6 Off

Simple and sweet and gets the job done.

Thank you for sharing your custom Macro.
It may assist others to do similar things.
Helpful from me.

FWIW
I use similar routines to shut down home lighting when we hit the bedside "go to sleep" button. All inside lighting is extinguished immediatly and outside accent lighting is shut down one hour later.

Being an old geezer, the outside is usually dark by 10:30...sigh.   rofl
