Title: Icon Remote lastest version
Post by: gompfer on October 11, 2010, 04:55:04 PM
Does anyone know how to program the remote to turn multiple components with one button?  the manual doesn't state how to do it but sales claims it can operate multiple components with one button.

Here is the main page for the NStinct in the knowledgebase. Maybe some added information there.

I've had other issues, such as the remote freezing and had to take out the battery to reset and it lost all it's learned settings. The other being I use a PS3 for a blu-ray player, and it can't do bluetooth, so a 3rd party IR product is necessary. Other issues are getting the family to accept it. It seems that only I want to use it...others are settled in on the existing 5 remotes...

Also the human usability factor is really bad. Way to many button presses to get anything done. Everything on a remote should be upfront with maybe only 1 extra button press to switch modes or something.
