Let's see some pics of the really old stuff.
Here's my Radio Shack Plug 'n Power mini timer. Cat. No. 61-2679A Rated 2.5 watts.
Note the slider to select the unit address.
I think this is vintage 1984. I picked it up as new old stock in 1989. Was marked down from $79 to $16, still have the original box.

The original Sears "intro kit" had this Maxi Controller with a ultrasonic hand held remote control, a Lamp Module and an Appliance Module. Is your Maxi an ultrasonic model?
They made both Ultrasonic and non remote versions of this controller. I threw all my old ones away when X10 came out with the current low profile unit...like aluminum Christmas trees, they are now worth money.

Not ultrasonic, but I do have a radio shark ultrasonic unit out in the garage. That unit was my very first venture into HA.

These items are still in service at the house.

A couple of BSR units.

The lamp module:
Model No. X10-014511
Date Code: 1C12
The Appliance Module:
Model X10-014611
Date Code: OJ41
Picked these up off of eBay in June of 2011 for $.99 each.

Is the Appliance Module the one with a relay armature activating a micro switch, instead of the pulsed solenoid latching relay?

Here is most of my vintage stuff... there are a couple of mini controllers that are in use so I didn't include the pics here.
I also have the green florescent timer, but cannot find it right now....
The first pic shows an ultrasonic maxi with two remotes, a non ultrasonic, and one of my min controllers.
The third pic shows the old dark brown lamp and appliance modules and the "relay" that they used to use... a coil and a microswitch!
I also have 20 of the non soft start lamp modules that I am slowly replacing with softstart types, and 5 of the old appliance modules that are spares. I do not consider these as vintage even though some are RCA/Radio Shacks and one lamp module is a Schlauge "emergency lamp module" that came with an old wireless Schlauge burglar alarm system.

I have one of those also! Just can't find it right now.... I think mine was labeled BSR while my timer with the led display is a Radio Shack.
