The 18 inch coat hanger did the trick for my motion detector.  It is located about 75 feet away from the house.  And the signal now gets back to my CM19A to start recording like a charm.  This stuff really does work if you just methodically work through the issues and take the advice of the "experts" on this forum. :)%
