Title: SC1200A Self Tests

While looking over some old Radio Shack 49-1000 posts here.
I found one from 08/03/2005. Involved a user, TBM, who bought one and may have been a return. The PIN was not the default. Radio Shack told him how to reset it.

I tried it on the SC1200A and it also worked there. I also found it put the SC1200A into a self test mode.  ;D
Attached files of findings. Just remember when you exit the test mode the PIN resets to deafult.
Both files are the same. pdf or txt your choice.

 -:) hey man, go into test mode pick up your home phone and do test 4 the unit dials 012-345-6789 and runs the message recorded.  :)%

Great info here.

It's kinda off track, but anyone know how to reset the DS7000? Everytime, I have to remove the power and battery for few hours (not minutes)... in order for it to clear out all the code.
