Title: A Plug-in that does not exist.
Post by: Dan Lawrence on March 20, 2011, 12:29:05 PM
In 3.306 there is listed in the start up screen called Hot Body Alert in the plug-ins, but a search on the Active Home Pro site reveals no such plug-in exists.  Is it an error or or what?

It is listed on the software update page.
SW50A. I have no real clue as to what it does or is.

Mobile App. I remember reading about it once.
I think it notifies you of motion detected via MSXXA.
Probably sux like the other mobile apps.

I just checked the link in Brian's post and it IS a valid plug-in.   Don't use any plug-ins (don't need them), just wondered what it was.

Hot Body Alert is a plugin that will send an email to an address you specify whenever motion is detected by a sensor.  You can only define 1 sensor as the trigger though and the email subject line just says HotBody Alert, which makes it virtually useless in the real world.  Additionally the body of the message has this: "Click the link below to connect your iWatchMobile PRO to the ActiveHome Pro system.", with a 3G link and a WiFi Link.  Lotta good that will due you if you don't have that plugin as well and a camera setup in the area of that particular motion sensor!
