Title: VCR T.V. HOOK-UP
Post by: chickenskinmusic on May 12, 2011, 10:13:23 PM
Have purchased a four camer system from X10 and need some help.

Here is the package I have;

1 Wireless PC Transceiver (CM19A)
1 PAN AND TILT KIT (CR14A)
1 Security Surveillance Decal (4 x 6.5) (MM022)
 1 Security Surveillance Window/Yard Sign (6 5/8 x 10.5) (MM023)
4 EagleEye Water Resistant Motion Sensor (MS14A)
1 Vanguard Control Center Software (SW26A)
 1 Small Wireless Transceiver (TM751)
1 USB Video Capture Adapter (VA12A)
1 Pan & Tilt Base with Remote Control (VK74A)
1 Small Video Receiver (no audio) (VR36A)
 2 XCam2 Wireless Color Camera (XX16A)
 2 NightWatch Wireless Low-Light B/W Video Camera (XX20A)

I am at my wits end with this package, I have three or four sets of instruction on about the set up of this, but they are not all the same instructions.

I want to hook this system up to a Sony VCR and a small T.V.  Could some please tell me what wires and cables go where on the TV and VCR?

Thank you kindly

Do you want the VCR to be triggered when motion is detected? So it can be recorded.
I don't see any module in your list to trigger the VCR. Like a VCR Commander.

The video receiver would probably feed the VCR and it would feed the TV. Using RF or composite video depending on what the VCR and TVs inputs are available.

Is the PC Vanguard is running on also going to be used to capture or observe the video feeds?

Maybe some added information here.
