Title: WS467I Wall Switch Memory?
Post by: tom j on September 02, 2011, 06:39:07 PM
Hi really like the new wall switches that ramp up and down but I don't like the memory feature really wish you could disable it. So I found these WS467I on the web just and wanted to make sure these don't have that memory feature before I order a few. Thanks guys!

Without seeing a date code, I think you should assume they are Soft Start/Resume Dim modules. I think X10 started shipping the new feature units back in '08 or '09.

Hi thanks Dave! well it wasn't mentioned in the description so I guess I'll have to contact the seller to find out for sure.
There's no way to disable that memory feature is there?

Nope. All the new features is part of the controller chip programming so can't be changed.  If you have AHP or any home control program, after everyone goes to bed you can turn on each of the SoftStart/Resume Dim switches and brighten to 100% then send an OFF, so the light will be staged at 100% the next time you turn it on.
