What interface are you using?
Note almost all X10 modules are one way, receivers only. So turning one on or off locally will not send a status changed message back to a controller.

I have cm15a x_10 interface
in Active home pro ( win) when a module is activated by Rf command for exemple the status is updated.

First off. Please excuse my question on which interface.
The title of the thread was very clear. My head was not.  B:(

There are some very knowledgeable Linux users here and I am sure they will have better details for you.
