I ordered one of these and it arrived today. Input is listed as 12-24V and it does have a 2A fuse but no where on the charger does it list the actual output.

Wireless Solutions

On the charger
Model # CC-11-AO13

On the package  Model# 392482

Edit: Be advised that IMO this car charger is not heavy duty enough for the AirPad.

My test was battery start at 78%  playing full motion video with Wifif enabled battery climbed up to 88% in 45 minutes  however it should have increased faster , charger reached 120F (case temp,) and it was cutting off and on as indicated by the charging light on the AP.

I will be conducting addational test using a 5V /  3A output switcher type power supply whic consist of a rechargeable battery and a UBEC whic is a device used in one of my hobbies RC aircraft. The UBEC  I am using takes an input of from 6 to 23V and outputs 5V at up to 3A.

Initial test with battery starting at 77% the UBEC was supplying 1.25A  . In 10 min. AP battery up to 90% and output of UBEC is now down to 1A.

FYI  Charge light on AP is staying on nice and steady same as when using OEM power supply. Looks like I am go to go mobile now without any battery / power supply issues.

Power consumption streaming full motion video over Wifi 3.8 watts.  My 15.6" Gatewy laptop only uses 11 watts as a comparison.

I know this may be more data that most are likely interested in but batteries ,chargers ,battery management is my thing.

Amazon no longer has the suggested automobile adaptor which was probably used for an older cell phone.  Stock was at $1.97 until AP users started a run, then price went upwards of $20.  My order was cancelled due to no more stock.  :'(
Please advise if anyone discovers an alternative mobile adaptor.  Also if anyone can provide the size of this adaptor pin.

I measured two connectors outside dia.  ,one was .095" the other .098  and Goggle says .095" is 2.4 mm.

A .022 " dia. pin is a nice fit  for both and Goggle says that is .6 mm.
