Title: Downloading amazon android apps

I need some help with downloading Amazon android apps to my Air Pad.  I go to the Amazon appstore for android.  I find Kindle for Android.  I select it, then click on FREE, then click on Get App.  I then get a box that says, "to purchase Kindle for Android, please add a payment method in your 1-click settings."  If I then click on OK, the screen says, "No Apps to Download & Install."  Where do I go to enter my payment method info?
