I have the same problem. Headphones work but not a peep from the speaker. I just took the plastic protector off cause i've decided to keep the unit. Any help from X10 suport would be appreciated.

Then you need to call them, as they rarely post comments on the forum.

I have had conversations with them, they told to reset it which I already did. Then they said to do a factory reset, so I did and it did not work. So I took the last choice and sent it back.
Hope I don't get one worse then the one I had!

Hessville, when you say "reset" what do you mean? Reboot? Also, when you do a factory reset by pressing a fine object into the reset switch, did you loose all downloaded apps, settings and preinstalled apps?

I did reset by putting a paper clip in reset switch hole.
Before a did a factory reset I saved all of my downloaded apps to a sd card.
I don't think I lost any preloaded apps and I believe you'll have to reset your customized settings.
You'll probably have to send it back for an exchange like I did.
