Post by: the on January 23, 2012, 07:44:27 PM
I wish that X10 can make a very nice expensive WATCH  that can do all the work ..like arm and disarm ..panic .. turn on and off light ..
I hate a remote that hang on my keys chain ..I have too many of them ..

Maybe a forearm mounted tablet, smartphone (http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=21811.0), or even an ipod running X10 Commander (http://melloware.com/products/x10commander/).

Check out Ed Cheung's website. Several years ago he was using a Casio watch that incorporated an IR remote for X10 and other control.

Oh... you meant inexpensive. Glad you found what you wanted/needed. I found several IR watches on the InterWeb that looked fun as well. I still think the tablet and smartphone apps have a lot to offer. I misplace my car keys more often than my phone.

Dave is correct. With tablet/smartphone and devices can generate X10 RF commands, you don't have to carry keychain remote.
