Title: No Video with Netflix
Post by: Wired4life on March 10, 2012, 05:29:43 AM
I have the P7 and am unable to watch any video on the display and the TV when I play a netflix movie. I do have audio on both the display and TV. Anyone else have this problem of no video?

There is a known problem with Flash videos and the original release of ICS for the 7p. You can fix this by installing the update here:

However, there are issues with ICS in general and Netflix. This is a Netflix problem and will not be fixed with the latest ICS update.

I cannot confirm this myself, but I believe that the Gingerbread version of the 7p OS should work with Netflix. Instructions for this version can also be found by following the link above.

Yes, everybody will. Netflix does not run on ICS due to a problem with the Netflix app.

I can verify that Netflix works with the 7P build of Gingerbread.  We have been using Netflix on ours for some time...until I updated to ICS.  Now, as everyone is aware, it does not work.

Thanks all. Problem resolved with the X-10 fix above. Beware, back up all of your apps before doing the flash or they won't be there.
