Title: WIFI conectivity Airpad7p quality any problems?
Post by: daldude on April 09, 2012, 01:02:00 PM
How is the quality and range of the WIFI connectivity on the Airpad 7p? Is it good at connecting to weak signals and does it stay connected to even weak signals without disconcerting and requiring reconnecting?
If one does not have a very strong signal will it have any problems connecting to the WIFI router?

Thanks 8)

In Settings, turn WiFi on, then Networking to see the available signals. Scroll down to see more of the list.  Strength of each is indicated. Choose a new one and enter password if needed.  A previously used one nearby will automatically connect. Weak ones are indicated as too weak, and previously used ones out of range are all shown with their names. I don't know if there's a way to remove these names.

When putting the Airpad into Standby, turn wifi off to help save battery.

So far I've had very little trouble with dropped signals. Maybe I was always in range. :)
