After connecting the cam to power and to my wireless router, I installed tools and when it opened it and I clicked the search button I don't get any kind of list, just a blank. any ideas? support is of course closed till tomorrow and they are always closed by the time I get home.

it doesn't work with wire or wireless?
I am new but I'll see if my post helps
here is what i did
...plug camera to my laptop via wire
...ran the "ip camera tool" (it scan for ips or something) once i saw that ip in the box i double clicked it and took me to camera control panel
...click network and click wireless.. hit scan (2times or 3 times) pick your wireless name and fill in the info..included the passward for your wireless
...press submit and while camera restarting unplug the wire...(must)
---go to basic setting and set up http part (anything you want let say 1234) make sure you use same number in router
go to router and under port forwarding XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX.1234
that's all i know...i can help with email part of it since i got to work... i need help with ip static ..so i can log to my camera out side oh my home.
