Title: Remote range dropping to a few feet
Post by: toddbailey on September 12, 2012, 04:29:53 PM
Hello,

I have a couple of phr03  remotes and a cm15 house controller.

Over the last several months the range of the remotes has dropped to only a few feet even with new batteries.

Any ideas?
time to replace with newer/better products.

Does the Activity Monitor of the CM15A confirm that the remotes range has decreased and it is not a factor of increased powerline noise is preventing the control signals from the CM15a from getting to the target modules?
It is unlikely the range of "a couple" of PHR03 remotes would simultainously decrease. Instead, suspect the receive range of the CM15A is decreasing. Look for reasons causing this. Has the CM15A been moved? Antenna orientation the same? etc.
