Do you have audio in the app, or just video?

IP CAM VIEWER by Robert Chou has both. Audio and Video. And you can send audio to the cam too.

What about XC39A camera?  I have this app and the image works, but audio Mic nd Speaker buttons are grey'd out.

Absolutely no audio used here. My security cameras are mounted outside. In the state where I live people [when outside and not within sight of other people] have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Therefore it would be illegal [as I understand it] to record or listen in on any sounds.

However... even if audio was allowed I might still pass on audio data. It is of little usefulness and a huge data drain.

If it's greyed out, then there's probably no audio for that cam. I have outdoor cam with no audio and indoor cams with audio. Cams are Easy N and Foscam. Got them all from E-Bay.

Right.  My camera (XC39A) does have audio, but it's only available through Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7, or the actual X10 PC program IPCamClient.exe

Nothing else will support my cameras audio. It's kind of a bummer.

I need some help.  I have an app on my Android 3 and can view & control my IP Cams BUT, only when I am connected to my home office WIFi.  The cam viewer will not work over the Verizon netwok.  I have been told about all sorts of port blocking ( by my router ) ( all not true ) and port blocking by my satellite provider either at the satellite control center ( not true ) or by my satellite modem here at my desk ( also not true )... I am at my wits end, especially since the cams viewer works perfectly on my WiFi.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Contact the apps author and explain your issue
Since you didn't specify the app and crystal balls are hard to come by, I doubt anyone here can offer a solution to your problem.
You could also contact your carrier for suggestions.

You are right, of course.  The app is IP Cam Viewer Lite by Robert Chou.  I will visit the app website to see if I can get it working.  I have spent dozens of hrs on line and on the phone with x-10.  Everyone is pointing the finger at everyone else which, of course, does not help me at all.

Are you changing the Ip address in the app when you try to connect from your carrier?
I've created two camera IDs in the app one for when I'm home and the other for when I'm not that way I don't have to change the ip each time.
However I don't own a AirSight cam (which may be the issue)

Try using IP Cam Viewer Basic by Robert Chou.. not the lite.... He has 3 apps lite.. basic... pro.

I use the basic for AIRSIGHT PTZ PRO and it works fine.. You do have to set it up...with the ip address and port..

Find SCAN CAMERA and scan..your camera ip address should be there.. make sure you also put the port number . click test and it will scan a list of camera names.... DON'T FORGET YOUR USER NAME and PASSWORD ( if any ) scroll down the list to x10 and pick it...click add

double check all the fields ip addrsss...port..user name... password are there and click save.

you should be good to go if nothing else is wrong

DROP THE LITE AND TRY THE BASIC.. ITS FREE

If you can get video on your PC.. then it should just be something not set right in the IP Cam Viewer.

Make sure when you re in the viewet setup
DROP DOWN MENU
Make: x10
Model: Airsight

Host/IP: Camera IP Address
Http: Port #
User name                   Password

Click Test: You should get a message SUCCESSFULLY retrieve Image from Camera

Click Save:

Hit back button
there is a arrow in upper left .. click it. and you should see your camera video
