Title: How can I troubleshoot new XX34A that stops responding after about a day.
Post by: fivespeedv8 on January 25, 2013, 01:38:18 PM
I just got my new camera up and running wirelessly and I'm accessing if from the internet via port forwarding, but I've found that it stops responding to the network after about a day. At that point, my router no longer seees it as a running device on the network with an active IP.   I have to power cycle the camera (unplug the power cable) and then it comes back up fine.    The camera has a statically assigned local IP address in my router, so there should be no issue with a DHCP lease expiring.  Any clues how to troubleshoot this?  Could the firmware be hanging?  Are there any known bugs or vulnerabilities that might be being exploited from the outside to crash it?
