Title: Indoor/Outdoor Wireless cam ??

 B:( I seem to have a mental block on this issue.
Trying to help a friend choose a camera.
It will probably be the airsight outdoor. Does the camera need to be near your wifi signal (notebook) and does that always need to be left on to be able to access the camera remotely (10 miles away etc.) I think so but please confirm

The camera connects to your Wi-Fi router if your using a notebook as a router then yes it needs to be left on.
