Hi all,
I have a Mitsubishi aircon that I am hoping to automate. Basically I want to be able to switch it on and off at specific time of the time every single day. Does X10 have a device that can send ir signals twice a day everyday to do this?
I hope that these signals can be send via network/iphone when my aquarium tank controller alerts me to a high temp situation as well.
Long story short, I have not space for a chiller and a chiller in the living room just makes the room too hot. As such, I wanted a round about way to cool my tank in the not normal event that my tanks gets too hot in the summer.
Thanks!

No.
The simplest (and cheapest) solution meeting your initial criteria would be to purchase a AC Universal Remote that incorporates time and temperature programability. Try searching eBay for "Mitsubishi AC Remote".

Controlling the AC via WiFi is another story. I think the problem will be to find an IR transmitter that can send Mitsubishi AC codes. One alternative would be to hack your current AC remote so a momentary relay closure could be applied to the power ON-OFF button. Does your WiFi aquarium controller provide relay contacts output?
