Title: New CM15A transceivers are now Again Available!
Post by: Tuicemen on February 24, 2014, 12:03:48 PM
I recently expressed users concerns with finding replacement CM15A and the owner has agreed to offering it without software.
This should also bring the price of used units back inline.

For those interested in this but don't have the software I will make available a tool to convert the Marmitec version to a unregistered North American version.

If they were to release the CM15A communications protocol, they would likely find others might create software to support it and it wouldn't be in the hopelessly amateurish style that was dictated by X-10's chief programmer pictured below.

 rofl
My understanding is the new owners wish to do this.
However they don't have access to this right now but they have put in the request to the manufacturer.
If/when they get full access to the old servers things may change  ::) :'

As I promised here is a link  (http://tuicemen.com/forum/index.php?topic=652.msg4188#msg4188)for converting a European AHP to a unregistered North American version.
This includes a conversion tool to make the process easier

Authinx  has requested a copy of the conversion tool to test.
Hopefully this results in a better way to get the North American AHP installed (maybe a registered version) :)%

Hello, I was wondering if you were still offering a link to the conversion tool you created for the Marmitek version of AHP?, as I found myself trying to make it work as my only option, after trying to re install AHP on our new desktop.I tried the link you had provided here,as well as on Jeff Volps forum, but with no luck, Thanks  Mike

PMI just reviewed the pm and links and noticed not always does the link get triggered correctly  Sometimes it stops after European and doesn't contain the rest of the text.
This is because of the space in the file name.

Thanks  tuicemen, thats what it was, I just got a chance to get everything going except iwatchout, or the mobile apps of course, but I have had to cover for someone that's been off sick, AHP/macros was what I needed the most for now, hopefully new x10 owners will come up with something shortly ,Iv been trying to check your posts & their site often as possible, Thanks again for taking the time to help, I definetly appreciate it, as do many others here.  Mike

Does the new module fix the daylight savings time dates?

The new module uses the same software however it has been reported that the internals are different.
This may fix issues users reported with times though I suspect that is software driven.
There has been some success with accessing the servers which holds the software code so once that can be retrieved maybe a programmer can look into that again.

I'm able to login and thought that I would have access to the AHP conversion tool.  Do  need to make a request to get registered to have access to the tool ?
