Title: Recommendation for a true rocker, X10, decora style transmitter.
Post by: lerdman on July 08, 2014, 12:31:46 PM
When I built my home, I put two switches in each bedroom for a ceiling fan/light combination but we purchased ceiling fans with remote control operations which meant that only one of the two switches was used.  So, I have a dead switch in every bedroom which I'd like to put to use.

I have a lot of older X10 plug in lamp modules from a prior house which I'd like to use.  I'm looking for inexpensive X10 compatible decora style transmitter switches.  I used a lot of Smarthome SwitchLinc products before and liked how they programmed and felt.  I'd like to get true rocker switches (not just the half rocker with the button underneath).  I don't need a lot of features, it won't be controlling a load and I won't be be sending it commands.  I just need it to transmit an X10 address with an on/off message.

Advice?  Thanks!

I don't think exactly what you want, exists.

Some USER of this forum built some a time back. For the life of me, I cannot seem to locate the post. Perhaps someone with a better memory than mine will find it.
