Title: XX59A: SD card recorded video not viewable via iOS app
Post by: v on December 27, 2014, 02:04:27 PM
Hello everyone,

I have two XX59A airsight cameras. I am able to view the video recorded onto SD cards using Internet Explorer. So, I know the SD cards are working and the video is being recorded. However, when I try to access the same videos using the iOS apps, I get no video at all. The same thing happens on both cameras. I am using the latest version of the iOS app (1.4.2.69). Has anyone been able to get that to work? What am I missing?

Thanks for reading,
V

You may want to see if there is any added information in the X10 Wiki.
I did see there a mention of a legacy XX59A (before August 2013) and the present model XX59A.

Brian, thanks for your response. I checked that page but there is no information relevant to my problem. I just recently purchased my cameras from x10, so they are not legacy cameras. The section on that page that mentions using the cameras with the app does not go into enough detail. The alarm events functionality is not mentioned at all.
