Title: Possible to upload CM11 contents to restored verion of AHP?
Post by: audiology on August 27, 2017, 09:31:02 AM
Hard drive crash necessitated Carbonite restore to a new computer. AHP was not restored.  New AHP installation contains only default settings.

Is it possible to recapture/upload my settings stored in the CM11? If not, is there an earlier data file that might have been restored that could be linked to the newly installed version of AHP?

I found an .ahx file labeled "My CT home" that may contain the old AHP parameters. If so, how do I replace the default .ahx file?

Thanks.

AHP doesn't have the capability to restore setups from Any interface.
Your setup is stored in an AHX file which by default is myhome.ahx and in the AHP folder.
If you  saved this to another location it may be there.
If you renamed it when saving look for that file name ahx file.

To restore a old AHX file in AHP go to file/open
Browse to the file then click on it.

Glad you found a backup AHX.
You should also make a backup of the x10prod.sys file( if AHP is registered) and write down your Drive ID.
In case of another system meltdown you'll have the info for a full recovery.
